Amy was born in Ontario Canada where she began singing at the age of 8. She took part in many musicals and Festivals growing up. Amy has achieved gold at two separate Kiwanis Festivals for her work in Italian and Latin, and has also won a scholarship for Voice in Excellence through the Huntsville Community Choir.
Amy was recently honoured to play Miss Honey in the Bracebridge Rotary Musical of Matilda - The Musical. She has portrayed Christine Daaé for a cabaret show featuring The Phantom of the Opera at the Algonquin theatre in Huntsville, ON. She has been in other productions such as Aida, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Peter and the Wolf, Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell, and playing Janet Weiss in Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Her theatre performances include, Anna in the Tropics by Huntsville Theatre Company (role: Juliana), The 3 Musketeer’s by J2 Productions (role: Christine), The Misanthrope by Leclair Studios (role: Eliante), Waiting for the Parade by John Murrell (role: Eve), Can You See Me Yet by Timothy Findley (role: Nurse Alma), and workshop in Neighborhood 3, as well Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, where she played the roles of Romeo, Juliet, and the Nurse. Along with theatre work, Amy has voiced two radio plays and appeared in the Harold and Lorna documentary as the character Carol.
She has performed with the Stars of Tomorrow through the Muskoka Opera-fest in Bracebridge, ON. Amy was honored to sing with the American tenor, Aaron Caruso at the Algonquin Theatre in Huntsville, ON to a near sold out audience in 2013. She had her first debut in Warren, Ohio at an Italian Festival where she received a standing ovation for her rendition of O Mio Babbino Caro. Amy has recently had the privilege to share the stage with Canadian tenor, Charles Di Raimondo at the Davedi Club in North Bay, ON. Amy attended an opera summer program in 2015 through Scuola-Italia in Italy. She was chosen to work in a master class with renowned tenor, William Matteuzzi, and gained much respect from her professors on her voice. Amy has a debut album, Classics and Arias, for sale on iTunes.
